As the Circular Healthcare Programme Manager I lead the development and implementation of HCWH Europe’s circular healthcare strategy and work programme, to support the healthcare sector to phase out unnecessary single-use products and toxic chemicals and become a torchbearer for sustainable supply chains and sustainable resource management.
Years ago, I graduated with a Master's in Political Science and started my professional career in strategic communications. After several years I switched to EU project management with an expertise in circular textiles and (multilayered) plastics. In addition, I was leading and coordinating consultancy assignments for the European Institutions, working on the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles among other things.
Driven by a commitment to sustainability and ethical practices, I am passionate about creating positive impact through thoughtful and responsible decision-making. I focus on integrating sustainable and ethical solutions into the projects, ensuring that the outcomes meet immediate goals and contribute to a better, more sustainable and equitable future.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, textile weaving and writing.
