Hope Robinson

Climate Communications Officer

I drive HCWH’s climate communications work, developing compelling messaging and content for the Climate-smart healthcare programme and ensuring it is consistent across platforms to engage with our key target audiences.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, and French language from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, a ferry ride away from my hometown of Victoria, BC.

Before joining HCWH Europe, I worked in various comms/advocacy-adjacent roles in law, public health, and digital marketing, which, when joined with my academic and personal interest in global health, climate justice, and political economy, helped crystallise the goal of pursuing strategic communications as a career. This brought me to Brussels, where I obtained a Master of Arts in Political Strategy and Communication with a specialisation in Global Political Economy from the University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies.

I am passionate about building the sustainable and equitable future we and our planet need and am a fierce advocate for centring human health and well-being in the process. My goal is to harness the power of strategic communication to support capacity-building for community and system change and make that future a reality. In my free time, I can typically be found roaming one of Brussels’ parks, reading, vintage shopping, making a mess of my kitchen, or enjoying a beer or a concert with friends.
