As part of the HCWH Europe Leadership team, I design and direct our programme and advocacy strategy, ensuring more effective integration between our three programmes and making them more responsive to the needs of our members.
I previously served as the Circular Healthcare Programme Manager for over four years, managing a portfolio of projects and overseeing the implementation of our EU advocacy strategy related to strategic public procurement, circular economy, and sustainable supply chains.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and I specialised in health with a European MSc in Health Economics and Management - where I wrote my thesis on the necessary policy frameworks and measures to tackle Antimicrobial Resistance. During and after my studies, I gained international experience in the non-profit, intergovernmental, and business sectors in cooperation and development, international relations, healthcare, and sustainability.
Before joining HCWH Europe, I worked in corporate social responsibility, focussing on the pharmaceutical, insurance, and chemicals sectors - supporting companies and industry associations to improve their sustainability strategy and engaging and consulting with their stakeholders.
My mother tongue is Italian, but thanks to academic and professional experience in nine countries, I speak English, Spanish, French, and (some very rusty) German. Despite lacking a green thumb, I am on a mission to make our office greener!
