As Campaign Manager for Born Green Generation (BGG), I’m tasked with developing and leading an effective campaign strategy for the BGG initiative to engage various audiences and ensure maximum impact over the next three years of the project. I work closely with the BGG Project Manager, Director of Programmes, and Comms Team to ensure deliverables are met. I’m also responsible for the scale-up of the EU-wide #plasticfreehealthcare campaign, as well as supporting the wider Circular Healthcare team.
I have 10+ years of experience in higher education and charity roles including sustainability in healthcare, research in labs, community management, communications and engagement. I played a key role in leading the audit and accreditation of Bristol University labs as part of the Sustainability Team. We became the first in the world to achieve this green lab accreditation, using the LEAF auditing tool. At the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, I took the network’s community from 3000 to 7300 in 18 months and supported the development and launch of the network’s platform, supporting HCPs globally.
I have a degree in Earth and Ocean Science and a Research Master's in Marine Biogeochemistry. I have a passion for our environment, this has driven years of education and a career supporting a healthier planet. I am interested in behaviour change and supporting people through community building and communications to empower people with transparent and transformative information, so that we all have the privilege to make informed choices.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with other like-minded communities to positively impact the world around us and leave a healthy planet for future generations.
