Will Clark - Executive Director - Health Care Without Harm Europe

I’m the Executive Director of HCWH Europe. This involves leading the organisation forward, creating our overall strategy, designing effective operational processes, developing the team, and reporting progress and results to our board of directors.

I’m an environmentalist with over 20 years’ experience in corporate social responsibility, carbon management, and resource efficiency. Prior to joining HCWH Europe I spent nine years working in the NHS in the UK. During this time I created an award-winning and sector-leading sustainable healthcare programme Care Without Carbon (CWC) and had the privilege to be able to develop the largest team of specialist sustainable healthcare practitioners working in the NHS. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Biogeoscience from the University of Leeds and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London. I’m also a Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (MIEMA), a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA).

In my spare time I enjoy running, cooking, brewing beer and spending time with my family and friends. I’m also an avid music fan, both in terms of listening (I have been collecting vinyl since I was at University) and going to gigs in my local town of Brighton, and also performing (I play the piano and guitar, when I get the time!).
