Advocacy letter to Ministry of Environment

As UN member states prepare to gather in Busan, South Korea, from November 25th to December 1st for the fifth and final round of Global Plastics Treaty negotiations, Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) Europe is stepping up its advocacy efforts. In the lead-up to these crucial talks, we sent an advocacy letter to Ministries of Environment across Europe, highlighting the urgent need to address the severe health and environmental impacts of plastics, particularly in the healthcare sector, a major user of single-use plastics.

We have complemented this effort by reaching out to Ministries of Health to highlight the public health implications of plastic pollution.
